The maryland psychologist made a study with 10 persons, with different mental problems, who realized different reactions over some illness. To improve the health situation, the best and tested method to improve their mental health and to adjust to think positively. Here are some guidelines that can help you see things correctly, ie that the glass in front of you is actually not half empty and half full.
1. Most negative thoughts occur because of incorrect interpretation of a given situation.
However, whether the facts are cause for pessimism you are correct? Really judge other equitable? Can you imagine the worst, having no basis in fact to think that way? Try to change its attitude towards people and things in a positive direction.
2. Keep a diary of his thoughts.
