This survey data show Women&#8217;s Health Initiative Dietary Modification, conducted in the U.S. It involved 48,835 women (average age 62 years) who were divided into two groups: control group and comparison group, which has reduced the use of fat to 20% and increased use of vegetables, fruit and cereal cultures (up to 5-6 servings each day). In the first year of the study women in the second group visited 18 lessons on healthy eating, and then 4 more in each subsequent year. On the sixth year of observation they have reduced the use of fat to 8.2%, and the use of fruits, vegetables and cereals was increased only 1.1 and 0.5 servings daily.<br />
The results show that cholesterol liproproteinite of low density in these women has declined by 3.55 mg / dL, blood pressure &#8211; with 0.31 mm.  The number of women, stroke and cardiovascular disease in these 8 years was nearly identical to the control group. In 3.4% of women with cardiovascular pathology, registered before the start of the study, low-calorie diet was associated with higher risk of recurrent cardiovascular events.<br />
<span id="more-911"></span>The low-calorie diet can be considered for such conditions because it led to weight loss for women in the second group with only 0.4 kg compared to the first, reported magazine Prevention.</p>
