This conclusion reached British scientists from the University of Bath, after various experiments and summary of observations from previous studies. The volunteers were subjected to experiments with hot and cold water – one of their hands was called for 2 minutes consistently warm (with a body temperature) water and then more so in water with ice. Similarly in the Middle Ages often “experienced” Christians, to determine how strong is their faith. During the trials was the pain threshold (the point where everyone starts to argue that such tests) and the threshold of tolerance (time when the pain becomes unbearable). And on both counts fair sex “lost the contest. The final conclusion of the scientists is that at the time of their lives women have many more moments of pain, it is localized to more different places and its frequency is higher. The medicament, which usually helps for pain relief is Tramadol. This is is especially suited to the treatment of acute postoperative pain.
